Social Club at Prince of Peace

For more than 35 years, Prince of Peace has hosted a monthly Social Club. The ministry offers food, friendship, community and support for people with disabilities or mental illness. It's a safe place, thanks to the volunteers who serve our friends and organize the activities each month.

In the video above, produced just prior to the covid pandemic, you'll hear about the church and what Social Club means to people here. Happily, Social Club survived the pandemic! When in-person activities were not possible, volunteers brought food to several group homes and communities that participate each month. It was "Social Club on the Road," one could say. At present, we meet in person, at Prince of Peace on the last Monday of the month (holidays excepted) at 6:30 p.m.
